After graduating from university, Paul commenced his career with John Holland Construction and Engineering working on building and engineering projects in Australia and abroad.
He subsequently moved to Bovis Lend Lease working primarily on commercial office fit outs and later to Mirvac Construction building large commercial residential developments. In 2006 Paul took on a senior construction management role at APM Group managing multiple mid-sized commercial projects with a team of project managers.
In 2008 he established a small commercial refurbishment business concentrating on projects in the private and tertiary education sectors.
In 2013 joined forces with Ben to establish MRU Construction to deliver a different construction experience.
Paul is passionate about dealing directly with clients from project concept stage, through design development to delivery which allows him to channel his extensive experience into all projects.

Ben commenced his career as a supervisor at Hollowcore while studying building Construction.
Ben has extensive experience working on large scale industrial jobs, managing the Southern Cross Station redevelopment. He then moved into the health sector working on design and project management at some of Victoria’s largest hospitals.
Ben had lead design and construction management responsibility for complex healthcare projects in operating health care facilities including the Austin Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Ballarat Hospital and Sunshine Hospital. Ben headed up the delivery of the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre, the Royal Melbourne Hospital Emergency Department Redevelopment and more.
Collaborative contracting is second nature to Ben which enables him to integrate complex client technical requirements from project concept stage through the design to delivery and completion.
