This fit out included a luxury reception and lounge area, client meeting rooms, open-plan trading floor, staff kitchen and support spaces. The design reinterpreted historical detailing, abstracting coffered ceilings and wainscot paneled walls using paint and glazing film.


This project encompassed providing a new headquarters for a fund management business. Design included providing client meeting rooms, open-plan trading floor, staff kitchen and support spaces. The design created a distinctive client zone comprising a kinked glass wall to the public circulation zone, treated with reflective film to create a ‘hall of mirrors’ effect wherein the art collection, views of the Domain and natural light are bounced throughout the floor plate.


This project comprised of the fitout of two floors connected by a central lift and stair for an accounting firm. MRU were engaged based on their preliminary cost plan and worked with designers Elenberg Fraser to deliver the project within a tight timeframe and on budget.

Elenberg Fraser

Elenberg Fraser approached MRU to fast track their new office fit out which needed to be completed hastily due to their rapidly growing business.  Construction works were commenced in parallel with design development and the project was carried out on a cost-plus basis and delivered on time and within budgetary limits.


Having an already established and trusted relationship, MRU were approached by Slattery Australia to undertake their office fitout on an open book cost-plus basis with Preliminary costs agreed and fixed up front. MRU worked closely with the design team to develop and progressively cost plan the award-winning project within the client’s timeframe and budget.

CSL Office

MRU provided a complete design and construct service for and CSL Behring’s new Collins St offices. The design included a secure reception area, kitchen and communal areas, meeting rooms and general open office space. MRU, with Molecule Architects and the client collaboratively created an open and engaging new work environment that met all design and budget requirements.
